Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain financial accuracy and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Record daily financial transactions, reconcile bank statements, and maintain general ledgers.
  • Process invoices, expenses, and payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting processes.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, company policies, and financial reporting standards.
  • Liaise with auditors, vendors, and regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Maintain proper documentation and digital record-keeping for all financial data.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in accounting workflows.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 25 years of accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or Tally).
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA.
  • Experience in tax filing, compliance, or audit coordination.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or advanced financial automation tools.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Knowledge of local and international taxation laws.
  • Background in manufacturing, trading, or service-based industries.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to generate insights from financial data.
